  1. Great question, Aryn! I agree, there’s no way I could raebonasly do this if it’s just me and the kids. I usually will do it on the weekend in the afternoon. The kids will nap for part of the time, and Dan is usually willing to take the kids for an hour or two after nap to let me cook without distraction. It’s definitely an effort to make it happen, but it sure beats me trying to get dinner made on weeknights by myself (Dan gets home late, so there’s not a lot of time for me to cook after he gets home but before the kids need to eat and go down.)
